The idea behind Sting joining the WWE as of now is that he will not be used for the WrestleMania XXX but will feature in WrestleMania XXXI at California next year, but these things may change with time.
Backstage news suggests that the deal is not being seen as a big thing internally, and is not a top priority. Some people within the WWE are pushing for Sting to feature in this year’s WrestleMania although these people are said to not have much influence within WWE.
